When it comes to being a mother it means protecting ur children from harm and shielding them from the mean world but at times we can not protect or shield them. It saddens me to hear that at this age how mean kids can be to each other and it angers me to think that some of the things that are happening must come from the parents and family. I have taught my children that they may b different but that everyone is special despite COLOR OR ETHNICITY. So to hear that my child is being called the "n" word again and these kids r supposed to b his friends makes me even sadder. I wish I could protect them and take the pain away due to the cruel ness of the words that r said.
