When it comes to news like what Miley Cyrus is twerking on today, the recent death of Paul Walker, a football game, or people shopping on Black Friday, its important to remember that value is subjective. Libertarians like to pride themselves on their love of all things deemed important and relevant to society but those things arent the only parts of society. The quirks, hobbies, and interests of people, whether theyre libertarian or not, are what make the world a beautiful and interesting place. Obviously having a world where people only care about Kim Kardashian isnt ideal but having a smug elitist attitude helps nothing and only serves to prop up egos.
