When it was announced to us TA that Miss Pinky had resigned from MINT, one of my batchmates took it the hardest. Since then, we had heard nothing from her since she didnt even come back this semester. Di namin na gets kung bakit ganun- ganunan yung pag tanggap niya sa news na kinailangan niya nang umalis ng Theatre Arts, pero ngayon... tingin ko, gets ko na. Seeing all these posts about your respective courses, I now realize how amazing Miss Pinky designed our syllabus. Di naman po ito late reaction, or didnt know what I had till it was gone kind of thing. Matagal ko na pong alam na the way Miss Pinky designed the TA curriculum was really creative. Tama nga na ang TA ng MINT ay one of a kind because it offers things that other Theatre courses in the country cant offer. Also, feeling ko kaya maganda yung pagkagawa ng course is because the admin really gave her space to make it. As in totally hands- off yung admin sa TA nung nandito pa si Miss Pinky (I think napansin niyong lahat yun). Kaya ngayon na wala na siya, nakakaworry na din. Ngayon na pwede nang magging hands on ang admin samin, di kayat pabayaan nalang course namin? Im NOT underestimating Sir Eugene or Sir Micko. Especially not Sir Micko, I lay my trust unto him. Pero kasi, I heard na may mga tatanggaling classes sa course namin. Yung isang subject nga namin last sem na demote into an elective kasi its not as important as the other subjects and we may not get to use it that much (in the Philippines). Pero kasi, ang laki ng angat mo kung may mastery ka dun sa subject na yun! I mean, yes, may madadaming times na ang sarap sabunutan ni Miss Pinky, pero di din naman namin matatanggi na ang ganda ng pag kagawa ng TA course. Kahit papano, we got something that no one else can. Sabi ng cousin kong taga UP, nag theatre din siya dun pero minor lang, ang swerte daw namin kasi ganun yung mhga klase namin. Ngayon na wala na siya... nga-nga nalang ba kami??? Anyway, to the TA Freshies... please, please, PLEASE! Habang curriculum pa ni Miss Pinky ang ginagamit, seryosohin niyo yung mga classes niyo. I mean, not to judge, pero based off what I see parang ang melow niyo sa TA1. Please TAKE YOUR MAJORS SERIOUSLY! Do your homework, MAG RESEARCH KAYO, WATCH PLAYS, wag lalaki ang mga ulo... feel free to approach us Ates and Kuyas for any TA questions.
