When making a profit is more important than taking care of your employees, then Capitalism is just another name for greed. Maybe when the business is small and the owner knows all of his employees personally, it works. But Capitalism has lead to Corporationism, where bullying your employees into accepting wages that are well below what can provide for basic needs is acceptable. Boycotting the companies or refusing to work for these wages is only an option if you can afford it or can effectively create a boycott that would have a financial impact on the company, which is unlikely for multi-billion dollar corporations, many of which provide goods and services which cant directly be boycotted. So the solution is to either force these companies to restructure so they are small enough to know their employees personally, or mandate minimum treatment of employees, such as minimum wages, required health insurance, and other benefits that an employer that personally knows their employees would value for their employees.
