√ When musicians decided to wear their trousers above their ankles (Michael Jackson style) out of their own self desire nobody cares (its the in-thing ). But let a Muslim wear his trousers above his ankle, he is a fanatic or fundamentalist. √ When someone wears a 3 piece suit and tie under a scorching sun, nobody is worried (its his business; he is a lawyer). But when a Muslimah wears her Hijab, everyone is worried (isnt she feeling this heat!) √ When a professor decides to grow his beard nobody is worried (its his identity; igi iwe), let a Muslim brother try it, he becomes a threat for everyone around him (he is unkempt). √ When any of the musicians and wrestlers wears the mask, nobody is worried (its his UNIQUE style of fame). But when a Muslimah wears her Niqab as commanded by her Lord, they say she is oppressed and marginalised. √ Ladies brag about being concubines to married men and nobody cares, but if you as a Muslimah dare tell your folks that you want to be a second wife, be ready for condemnations. √ When a child raised abroad comes home and greets elders without prostrating, bending or kneeling, nobody is worried, they will say (awon ara Ilu Oyinbo o ki n kunle abi idobale o, e fi won sile o). You try it as a Muslim or Muslimah, you are uncultured, rude, arrogant and you will get all sorts of insults. √ When a non-Muslim woman decides not to involve in time consuming jobs because of her children, they say shes a good mother. But you just try it as a Muslimah, you are lazy, stupid, imprisoned and naive. √√√ We just have to please Allah, regardless of what people think about us. We are leaving in hypocritical world where everything Muslim does is a source of mockery and abuse by haters of Muslims and Islam. All these will not deter us from obeying the rules of our creator because you have nothing to offer us at the time of death or in the grave or on the day of judgement. May Allah (SWT) continue to make us steadfast in all the rules and regulations of our beautiful and nice religion of Islam. Amin
