When my niece Laura died this spring..Jen and I made a pact... you see Laura had a clover tattoo on her big toe... might give you a clue as to what a free spirit she was... She was always running late.... never totally prepared... Always had a huge smile on her face.... her passion was marine life... she studied at Penn State and unfortunately never had enough time to get her thesis submitted... She was intelligent, radiant, a mother, a wife, a sister, daughter, niece and cousin... we all loved her and I envied the adventures her lifes path had taken her.... until the unfortunate unexplained accident that took her life and good friend Sarah too. The pact was to get a clover tattoo on her birthday this year... we missed the birthday mark which I am sure she would understand... :) I designed a kind of flowing little clover with heart shaped petals... with her name... Did it hurt? Like hell... but what hurt worse was loosing her....
