When my son was born I gained a whole new perspective on the magnitude of what an enormous sacrifice it would take for someone to allow something bad to happen to their son in order to help someone else. I came to the conclusion early on that regardless of the situation I would never let my son suffer to save someone. Ever. In other words, if I had the power to save you, and even your family, by sacrificing my son, it would never happen. I encourage you to take a minute this week and say thanks to an amazing dad who did sacrifice his son for you over 2000 years ago and think about how much significance you give that amazing sacrifice. If its only 1 day a year that you recognize the significance, consider giving Him some more of your time. Its the least we can do.
