When somebody sees their ex with somebody else they immediately assume they downgraded if that person doesnt have a certain attribute that you have. Ive heard things like she dont look as good as me so he downgraded? Oh really? You think so? That girl probably treat that man like a damn KING. She probably adores the ground that he walks on. See I had that attitude. Id see a ex with another dude who maybe wasnt on my level physically and have this cocky smile on my face until I realize that she didnt downgrade at all. He didnt cheat on her like I did, lie to her like I did, deceive her like I did so the joke was really on me cause she was winning. Her smile was bigger than mine and I had no idea why. Ive heard dudes say she left me for a broke nigga? Yea dude might not make as much money as you but he loves her in ways that you couldnt imagine. You paid her bills. He pays attention. You sent her shopping. He sent her heart racing. You bought her shit but they created some shit. She didnt downgrade one bit cause you didnt realize that your money wasnt even what she wanted. She wanted you. Happiness is in the eye of the beholder. So if theyre HAPPY, dont be so quick to talk down.
