When the United States expanded westward, by treaty or by conquest or by purchasing, gaining land from Indians and Mexicans and Spaniards and British and French, we built on it. It was our land. Nobody questions that. When Canada expanded westward, by treaty or purchase or conquest, Canada built on it. It was Canadian land. Nobody questions that. When India expanded southward, by conquest or purchase or vote, to rule the entire subcontinent, India built on it. It was now Indian land. Nobody questions that. So why is that that Israel won the West Bank and Gaza Strip over 40 years ago, in war, just like any other wartime expansion of land since the dawn of time, and every time Israel builds and apartment building on it, the western press, the Left, and even the occasional self-hating Jew, SCREAMS bloody murder about it, as if theyre torturing puppies and serving roast kitten for dinner? Its their land. The won it in wars of defense that the arabs started. Israel has every right to build on it. Nobody should question it!!! John F. Di Leo
