When the Youth wakes up, the old fathers sit and watch the matches - TopicsExpress

When the Youth wakes up, the old fathers sit and watch the matches being played by the despised youths in such an exciting manner as their strength could never allow them. Therefore, I dream of a Nigeria where men who are in their retirement ages should not be voted for no matter how good they are nor financially influential they may be! If They are truly good leaders, their followers will replicate their virtues to advance their dreams!!!. What will someone be doing in the senate for over 4 tenures??? I dream of a Nigeria, where the youth shall begin to decide who governs them and not the Tinubus, nor the Aninehs, nor the Obasanjos, nor the Ogbamudias nor yet any cabals that are named or yet to be named, but we ourselves because we are in the majority and we have power to decide and defend our decisions! I have a dream that when the health care systems shall have improved and the average life span shall have increased to 79yrs (for men) and 89yrs (for women) respectively as in Korea, then, shall we smile and shall begin to encourage the youth to do more because we did change the nation as youths in our era! Let allow the Youth to do it again while the fathers play the roles of advisers and helpers of visions! The old are fighting and heaping wealth for their unborn generations while the majorities of youth stand akimbo to watch their collective sweats and God-giving wealth squandered and looted as well as being passed to a generations that do not know how to gather wealth by labour! NO! NO!! NO!!! This wicked trend must not be allowed to continue! If Nigeria is well-managed, and her resources profitably invested to harness the rich potentials of her citizens in such an unalloyed manner as to create the sophisticated domestic manpower that shall revamp every sectors of her economy and leapfrog her into her post industrial era, while standing on the shoulders of the technologically advanced nations as America, Europe, Korea, then her glory shall be reclaimed and yet again the Americans, the British, the Asian and other Africans shall be trooping to our motherland again as it was in the 70s when a Naira was equal to two US Dollar. And If the saying is true that what has always been shall ever be, Then I have a dream that the erraticism of Nigeria will soon come to an end! Therefore, let the youths brace-up to the challenging task of reclaiming power from the aged through the non-violent means of the ballot box! We therefore need youths like me to bring Nigeria to not just her past and enviable glory but her destined surpassing Glory, that has remained an envisioned fears and threat to the current domineering powers!!! My nation shall rise again! Yes she shall rise to that surpass glory where the current powers shall seat on the same table with her to dialogue and seek her approvals in venturing into any part of her continent! Yes we can do it! Wake up, let give the youth the courage to stand and the chances to replace our old recycled politicians, whose products could not produce any innovative for over half a century, but wanton destruction and reckless looting to savage their posterities!! Arise Nigerian Youth!!! Wake up from your slumber! quit you men be strong and valiant in battle!!! God bless Nigeria!!!
