When the disciples of Jesus had attempted to exalt the tremendous - TopicsExpress

When the disciples of Jesus had attempted to exalt the tremendous physical adornation of the Temple on Mount Moriah, Jesus was quick to disappoint their enthusiasm to the effect that vanity would ultimately prevail. To their dismay, the Lord Jesus responded by saying that those well-adorned Temple buildings would be completely demolished to the extent that no stone would be left on top of another in the ensuing rubble. Surprisingly, the disciples were quick to perceive that the Lord Jesus was, as a matter of fact, hinting on his second coming and the end of the age. Its this realization that eventually prompted his disciples to ask Him, Lord, when will all these take place? And will there be any sign ahead of time to signal your return and the end of times? In response to their quest for greater understanding of this critical matter, the Lord Jesus gave the MOST IMPORTANT PROPHECY yet, ever recorded in the bible..... Matt 24, Mark 13, Luke 21 It is this mighty prophecy on the Coming of the Messiah that redefines and creates a critical threshold on all biblical events. Precisely, all other prophecies in the Bible revolve around this major prophecy on the Coming of the Lord.
