When the government no longer serves its people….. If Jinggoy, Enrile, Revilla, Napoles and all those charged with plunder go scot free, if Arroyo was pardoned and let lose, if Aliping escapes the full penalty for his deeds, and all other ifs related to big crime were in favor of the perpetrators, then our government does not really serve its people. Our current political system is at best a failure, and at worst a malicious beast bent on our domination, the time has come to do something about it. It is corrupt beyond redemption. To a point, we have seen how the many protests and traditional activism approaches of different bands of the society have become meaningless in light of the current situation. We have to employ unconventional but non-violent approaches to reform. Since our government is doomed to self-implosion, then it is the responsibility for people of good will and good conscience to create an ideological framework and strategic plans so that when it all comes tumbling down, there will at least be the possibility of something better.
