When the people we care about are struggling, we want to find some way to help. Any way at all. I thought I would try to shed a little light through my work by putting some irreplaceable memories together. Marc, it was hard to choose the right time to share this with you. I figured your birthday was as good a day as any. Your strength is insurmountable. I cannot begin to fathom what you go through and what feelings you must have each and every day. I tried to capture a bit of that here. For those who do not know Marc, he is a wonderfully close cousin of mine. His daughter, Alexis. is 21 years old and has been diagnosed with a condition that has caused heart failure as well as many other issues. Due to complications of her disease, she has been in the Intensive Care Unit for just a few days shy of an entire month. Marc, as well as the young gentleman you see in this montage, has been by her side the entire time. He is undoubtedly the most amazing father I know. He has 4 other beautiful children. He works very hard to support his family, all the while trying his best to provide a sturdy place to lean on and a soft place to land as his family deals with these terrible circumstances. Happy birthday Marc. We love you.
