When this campaign pointed out environmental issues around the errection of a McDonalds in Tecoma we were called hippies, tree huggers and told to get a job. One of the concerns raised was around McDonalds rubbish being washed down drains and creeks, causing harm to our precious flora and fauna. Tonight I saw this happening with my very own eyes; a McDonalds wrapper was washed down Sandells Rd, around the bend onto Blackwood and towards the drain. This is just one example describing the many ways the Dandenong Ranges have been adversely effected by McDonalds. Whats your plan of action to avoid any further negative environmental impact on our National Park and waterways, McDonalds? James Currie? Call me a tree hugger if you wish but at least I can say that I care
