When was the last time you had a “mental health” day or took a “mental health” break? Do you know when it’s time to take a break? If your answer is ”no” to these questions, then ask yourself these simple questions: 1.Are you feeling more irritable than usual (easily irritated by everyone and everything), causing you to lash out unnecessarily? 2.Are you having difficulty concentrating, making it difficult to get through your day? 3.Are you feeling overwhelmed by even the simplest things? 4.So you have the need to sleep, eat, or cry more than usual, lacking motivation to do anything, to the point it is affecting the quality of your work and relationships? If you answer “yes” to any of these questions, it is time to for mental health day/break. Take the time out to do something you enjoy, talk to someone, meditate, pray, exercise, and focus on self. You can also check with your state psychological association for a list of therapists for further help. Remember, you are no good to others if you are no good to yourself!!!!
