When we are being persuaded by politicians to believe them, it reaffirms to me that the only source of real truth is in our Lord Jesus Christ, and found within The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints, of which I am a member. Any comments I make are mine and not that of the church. Politicians LIE! In a time that the world needs unity and people to come together, we have this SNP drive to divide and cause uncertainty. Is the union perfect? NO. But I believe it has served me and mine well throughout my life. I am not prepared to, at best, give my grandchildren the gift of uncertainty. During the debates, it is ironic that Mr Salmon needed a second chance to apparently win the debate. If he gets his desire, the Scottish people DO NOT get a second chance. We will be stuck with the consequences of a yes vote for many generations. Are you willing to take that risk with your childrens future? My youngest grandchild will be my age now (approx) when the oil runs out (with most optimistic predictions) What then? At least as part of the UK we can deal with this problem together, instead of in isolation. What ever way you decide, Please vote, and then be prepared to be accountable to our children about your decision. Proud to be Scottish. Proud to be British. Better Together. Vote NO.
