When we are instructed to walk in His steps (1 John:2:6), that cannot refer only to the 40 days He was here on earth following the resurrection. There is little description of that time period. Those who say He abolished the law through His sacrifice ignore the significance of His example. 1Jn 2:6 The one who says he stays in Him ought himself also to walk, even as He walked. 1Jn 2:7 Beloved, I write no fresh command to you, but an old command which you have had from the beginning. THE OLD COMMAND IS THE WORD WHICH YOU HEARD FROM THE BEGINNING Remember there was no New Testament it was the old command THE TORAH which we heard from the beginning, this is the WAY HE walked and this is our example on how we are to walk
