When we got to Yakima a few days ago, Our renter came with this news. I was awakened at 4:00 with the sound of water running. I went to her backyard and turned off the water. 12,000 gallons of water had entered the crawl space through the break in the irrigation line. Have you ever asked why? Trials reveal character more than they make character. Youll learn things about yourself and about God that youve never learned. Youll find out how much God loves you in a way youve never experienced before. Youll learn that God doesnt just skip out on you when things get bad. When you cant give Him that big offering, God will still keep blessing you because of His grace, not because of your good works. Trials reveal how much you have in the Lord; they reveal His resources. If we never had a need or never had a trial, we never would know that God could meet our needs. Wed never know that God could take care of our day-to-day life needs.
