When we last left our intrepid Blesser I had asked him if hed read my profile and when he said he had, I then commented that it was basically interesting that there was nothing else in it that struck him.... This picks up right after my last comment in the last post: Blesser : The whole thing was interesting. I know you said you did not like people to say they were real. Some people say they are real many times are not real. God bless Me: Actually....I never said that. At all. What I did say was that when I asked what part of my profile you enjoyed I didnt want a response of youre real or you keep it real since that generally is a non-answer and means nothing was read. I dont have an issue with real people. I greatly prefer them to fake ones. Gesundheit. Blesser: I know what you are saying. Before we has this internet thing stupid people used to say keeping it real or keep it real and such stupid nonsense as that. Now on here they do say they are real or I am real and half the time they are not it is some computer generated mess. Anyway any plans for the weekend? Do you speak German? God bless Me: Er, thats not what I said at all.....I was saying that using that as a statement in response to What did you like about my profile? was a clear indicator that it was in fact, not read at all, and, as Ive said, its *very* important that folks read it. *ALL* of it. Given that it contains a lot of *very* pertinent information. For instance, my views on religion as well as children. And no I dont speak German, but you kept saying God Bless, which is what you say when folks sneeze, so I responded in kind. Weekend plans are still being sorted out. Blessed Be Blesser: Yes I do and from reading all that I think you would be an interesting and smart woman that I would sure be interested in getting to know better. You sound as if you have it together and expect the other person to have it together too. I do have it together. God bless Me: Well thank you, I do have it together, and I do expect my partner to have it together as well. But, in the interest of clear communication (something I mentioned is very important to me) Iam going to ask again, are you really sure youve *actually* read and *understood* my profile? Because I believe there are a few key differences that makes us incompatible. Hail Baphomet Blesser: Yes, I read it once and went over it again. I know what I am getting into. Where do you feel we are incompatible. If you go with anyone and go over enough things with anyone you are more than likey to find something that is incompatible sooner or later. The important thing is can they be worked around. God bless Me: Well, let me list for you where I think our key differences are. 1. You indicate on your profile you have no children, but you want them. That for me is a huge no. I am child free. This means I do not want children in any way shape or form nor do I want to be with someone who wants them, because frankly I see no point in that. That is the first thing that can not be worked around and one of the biggest. But of course you read my profile and so, you know this. 2. You have no photo of yourself. This is something I specifically mentioned in my profile, as being a fairly big issue do to a few reasons, which I have listed in my profile, which you read. Twice. 3. I am not a huge fan of christianity or really any organized religion, and dating someone to whom it is a huge part of their life would be problematic for me. That bit is admittedly a bit difficult to gleen from my profile, but given the numerous and varied friends I have with all sorts of lifestyles, most of which are pretty much in direct conflict with several tenants of the church it should be pretty apparent. Especially to someone that read my profile and then went over it. Like you did. 4. I am in a relationship and I am seeing someone. Which is not something to be worked around. And this is why I am a little confused, given that I pretty much state that in the first 3 sentences of my profile. Which you said you have read twice. 5. All this leads me to wonder, yet again if you actually *read* my profile, given how obvious most of this is, or, if you did read it, if it was just a skimming over so as to be able to pull out a few points when asked. Something I also mention as a no go in my profile. Which you said you read. Twice. so........... Me: Actually I take back number 2, you do have a photo up. Now.
