When we render service to the supreme personality of godhead. we usually say we cant remember an important sloka as our mind wanders when we chant. whereas when we hear some movie song, the tune keeps on ringing in our ears. This shows we r not involved fully in devotional service.It is a shame on us that we give reasons when it comes to devotional service. We should so try to control our mind from wandering and put our utmost in the service of the lord. In this mundane world with our acharyas mercy, we can control our mind and chanellise it in Krishnas service. Also our faith on our acharya should be unshakeable. Bali maharaj who had the mercy of his guru Shukracharya.The moment Bali maharaj disobeyed his gurus advice of not giving alms to lord VAMAN, he lost his entire prosperity. Thus praying to swami DESIKAN our heart will be cleansed from lust, desire, anger and we could concentrate in the service of the lord. However Krishna is easily obtained by pure unalloyed devotion. He is seen by His pure devotees with eyes of devotion, tinged with the salve of love. His devotees meditate upon Him under the sway of love, parental affection, friendship, service or reverence and thus establish their eternal relationship with Him. HARE KRISHNA
