When we say the word fantasy, hardly anyone thinks of music. “You have a fantasy,” one says, when someone invents stories or paints interesting pictures or just dreams. Fantasy goes beyond limits, breaks the conventional forms, encourages new understanding and allows free improvisation. The word “fantasy” can also be interpreted as a play and fun. When we talk about music and playing the piano, it’s about the same categories, but in the abstract form.
