When we started this boycott movement, we knew it was going to be an uphill battle. But weve stayed positive and know that we are using this platform to raise awareness. This article is very accurate in the sense that, we may not rock the bottom dollar of Olympic sponsors, but our boycott can hit in other ways, such as bad publicity, which can affect a corporation for years to come. Most likely, companies like Barilla — along with McDonalds Corp. and Coca-Cola Co., both sponsors of the upcoming Winter Olympics in Russia — will survive the boycotts of their products.
