When we talk about awakening you cannot avoid spirituality. It does NOT matter what you call that power, the only thing that matters is that you dont see yourself as that highest authority. The more faith you have in some divine order in the universe- whether your higher power is God with a capital G, Nature, Source, Buddha, Jesus,love, light or any other way of understanding a power greater than yourself - the easier it will be for you to let go of your own ego.
