When were not rescuing, you can guess we are at the vet! Frosted Faces Foundation covers lifelong medical costs for all of our senior dogs. Usually an FFF Director accompanies Families to the vet, or were busy answering phone calls & emails from the doctors, or filling prescriptions! Some recent appointments include Princess getting new bloodwork & a urinalysis for a suspected kidney issue, and KD having her chest X-rayd which diagnosed chronic bronchitis and prepared her for surgery to have a huge chest tumor removed next week. Ellie & dad, Ron, have been spending a lot of time at the vet lately trying to manage her diabetes. We just got them a glucometer and theyre toying with her insulin amounts. Vet appointments arent as thrilling as new recruits, but its exciting that we are able to provide the care that these Frosted Faces deserve. Thank you for your support!
