When working within a hierarchy which has become corrupted it seems that you are never safe, no matter how far up the pole you have plotted and backstabbed your way. I have tried to find the previous post detailing the surprising number of deaths amongst mid-level western bankers (i.e. those above those working in Jersey) either by suicide or murder in the past year. You may recall the last one was found with his throat slit in the bath, the one before was found hanging in a public stairwell, several have apparently leaped from the top of their office buildings. The highest suicide rate in the world (Greenland) is 0.83 per thousand people. The highest murder rate (Honduras) is 0.9 per thousand people Given that there are at most 10,000 mid level bankers in the western financial system you might expect about 17 people to die this way (if they spend half the year in Greenland and half the year in Honduras). But event number 36 has occurred. He disappeared about a month ago and his body has been found floating near Ostend. Traditionally of course Christmas week is the peak of suicides and so one can only assume that in the natural course of events quite a few more will turn up then. Unless of course there is nothing natural about these deaths, but a conspiracy to prevent certain information from coming out. I guess we should be grateful that no one in the Jersey Finance Industry is sufficiently senior in the financial system to pose a risk.
