When you are divorced. End of discussion. Seriously, lets look at the supposed logic of the marriage covenant. People get married for only a couple of reason, one of which is to remain faithful and monogamous with each other. If the one who seeks to step outside the marriage fold were to ask their partner, I am not happy, I want to have an affair; what do you think the response would be? Step One. Probably along the lines of we need counseling. That is what the reasonable person does. If counseling is not effective, and love done gone the options are now considerably less. Step Two. They can either agree to be infidels, or they can call it quits. It is better to just get the divorce, than to be called a Fido. Otherwise known as a dog.
