When you become old you`re often no longer flexible. Can`t get used to the new. I`ve experienced that in Eastern Europe. .... I ran in Hungary, Romania and Russia led these companies well for decades in the prevailing conditions durring the communist and socialist systems. At the change to a market economy, I was only able to keep these people on for as long as they could pass on their knowledge about this the companies. When new ideas and working methods came in these old manager lacked the mental and physical manoeuvrability to adapt. They had to go.
