When you boil it all down the one outstanding feature remains .. Teaching is a part-time job ... Nine months a year ... Coveted summers off ... Good pension and bennies .... The salary isnt bad once youve been there for a few years ... If it is so awful, go and see if you can do better in another profession. That is what the reat of us must do. Teachers chose this knowing that their union was run by strike-happy (not too bright) socialists who continue to get paid all through the strikes ... No matter what. I suggest you dump the pointless adversarial teachers union and become professionals.
