When you have done all you can do, stand-and claim His promises. Many years ago, I read a story about a young man who planted Indian corn. He watered and fertilized. And each day, he would go back and dig up the corn to see how it was doing. Needless to say, you know how that growth went. Sometimes, we can be like that. We pray but keep going back and questioning or re-hashing our prayer. Maybe we are guilty of not giving God the time He needs before we lose our faith (or focus). Or maybe we feel we have to do something ourselves to help God along. There are times we must, pray, believe and wait. Quite possibly, after we tell God our whole story about a circumstance, give Him our heart and our request....we should stand and claim His good answer thats coming. And not keep digging it up. James 5:16 b says this, The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. Our roots can grow deeper in pain and waiting. May we stand strong in the Lord. Isaiah 27:14 Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord. And as we know, God is good, all the time. Big hugs to you as we wait.
