When you start to psycho-analyse politicians in this country - TopicsExpress

When you start to psycho-analyse politicians in this country particularly in a place like Borno, you will get for yourself some good laughter. Shame--and this is supposed to mean morality--has been snuffed out of their souls; with no common sense and mental sophistication to understand--if they ever care--the self-destruct campaign they with their very self waged against their integrity. In Adamawa, the former governor, Nyako, has to the delight of his cheerful heart succeeded in making himself a laughing stock and an object of comic relief, for assuming that leadership, like the President does, means an adventure in a dream--and at the end, his, is one of cruel misadventure. Theres a scientific proof that Nigerian politicians get mad in the course of their political adventures. Their brains soon as they acquire power develops resistance to common sense and logic: the weirdly outrageous transforms into their normals, flat-out lies somersaults into gospel and failure--for thats what mediocrity stands for--to a success which, whats more, should be celebrated! Some time last year, a certain governor, to the disappointment of a nation desperate for good leaders, warned journalists to be careful with him, as to not provoke him to start exercising his full powers, for when he does, he can even kill. At the moment, he said he was only exercising less than 10%! In the same way, Bauchi state governor in 2012 sent to jail a Facebook activist for exposing his outrageous spending on the wedding of his son. The list goes on and on to prove that no matter how sane you might be, once you acquire power, youre prone to eventual madness...
