Its a simple song with such a powerful meaning. I still remember the last time performing it at a football game in college wuth tears in my eyes. Ive travelled many roads up and down in my life, and though at times I thought I might have been alone....I realize I never was. Ive always had the support of my family and friends and through it all my faith has only gotten stronger. So to those of you who have been my rock and my strength and been by side on the darkest of days....thank you. I love you. I know the next few months will be a challenge, as my divorce is closer to being finalized. Though my marriage is a chapter I didnt want to end, I am a stronger more confident woman because of everything my children and I have endured the last six months. This song has gotten me through so much over the last twenty years....amazing how powerful music can be.
