When you were in school did you ever feel like you just were not getting what the heck the teacher was talking about? I am someone who likes to thoroughly understand a subject and once I am into it I can learn very quickly and retain information. However when I was in school I oftentimes would feel really stupid because I just wasnt getting it. I you were like me at all you are probably a very intelligent and curious person but were told that you simply didnt apply yourself or other reasons the teacher would blame you for a failing grade. When I listened to Alton Maddox things just clicked for me. The point of school for me and my classmates was not to create powerful critical thinking leaders but rather to create unthinking obedient work drones. The children in prestigious schools were taught critical thinking and subjects from the history that made sense from a whole systems perspective so they didnt feel stupid, that is the way we all should have been taught, to see the whole connected picture and how everything fits together. If we were taught that way we could analyze the world and make our own decisions according to our own values. So check this out! Also I am adding links to university playlists that are awesome. If you have ever felt stupid do not give up on yourself, now you may have great teachers on any subject at Yale, Khan University and other classes you can study in your own time. Khan academy teaches anything you need. Some of us feel less than or not smart enough because we didnt go to an expensive university, now you can learn from great instructors too! If you didnt learn something in school and want to learn it or you have a child who is not understanding math or other courses, this is a great way to learn it fast and get great grades, ACTUALLY ENJOY IT AND UNDERSTAND IT!I FOR FREE!! I have been downloading so much incredible and interesting information! It is so easy to learn with these great teachers who start from the beginning and teach for a full connected understanding instead of throwing a bunch of disconnected boring facts at you and expect you to remember them.
