Whenever I hear this song, it reminds me of the perfect ending to a to a perfect day! My oldest brother, Roderick (R.I.P.) gave me a ticket to see George Duke and Stanley Clarke perform at the Strand Supper Club - Concerts by the Sea! Yeah, I was going to STRAND! Anyway, my sister Trish (R.I.P.) loaned me her man-killer dress. I was set - if only I could sit in the dress. After all, I was going to a supperclub...Not to worry, my sis-in-law, Joyce Gammage showed me how to dip into a chair (sorry Rod), then I was set! Everything was going great! I was seated right up front; candlelight was right; food was great, and I when the music started, I was flowing back and forth with my table mates! Just when I thought things couldnt get any better...a stranger sent over a drink. Okay, yes I was flattered! That was the first and the last time I accepted a drink from a mysterious stranger. There is a lot more to this story but, One drink does not a romance make, nor one rose make a love connection. That was my point, but I wasnt getting through to this guy but, the Valet Attendants helped bring him to the light! :-) So, whenever I hear this song, it reminds me of my big bro, Rod, lil sister, Trish and sis-in-law, Joyce! I was wrapped in clover yall!
