Whenever a visitor came home, mom would cook a special meal and serve him/her in very expensive luminar plates and in the process we would have a taste such delicaciy otherwise we always ate in plastic plates and vegatables day in day out. So one day i asked mommy, "mom, when will the visitor come back?" "mbona?" she responded with a smile. "So that i can have a chance to eat spaghetti, kebabs, harmburgers, chicken... As opposed to the usual veggies, stiff bread..." She looked at me with mouth agape and shrug off the issues. Thats Kenya for you ahaha forgive the pun :-)
