Whenever i search for long distance relationships all i see is army, military relationship to read about... or people that meet online... So how important should the circumstances of someone being gone for long periods of time be when another is involved? There are many relationships that dont have that trust and faith and they see each other every day. The unnecessary drama, the negativity, the trying to change the other, judgments, taking others for granted and more (greatist/happiness/20-bad-habits-could-hurt-your-relationship ) needs to be known and yes no relationship is perfect. There maybe room to always improve but dont be driven down to constant fighting or over and over same irritation or problem. Ive witnessed to this type of negative relationship, its not pretty for either of the two in their relationship, they just dont see eye to eye on things and no room to compromise. Long distance relationships usually end up not working out because of one not trusting the other but if you have great communication and feeling of being loved with words and occasional thoughtful idea then things should be minimally problems. Its when they return to you is when things could change for the better or the closeness may get too much, but it is kinda like moving in with someone i feel. To conclude and answer the question : How important should the circumstances of someone being gone for long periods of time be when another is involved? #1 If it is important to that person career wise or for school let them but keep contact and a open conversation #2 Gone cause the military, air-force, army, seals ect. its part of what they want to pursue career wise, having someone to support them in there journey is important to them Id imagine #3 If you met them online and been in contact with them over the phone for over a year and want to be together and think things will workout, both of you have to be willing enough to give up and sacrifice to make things work Honestly, I can not think of another reason to even try a long distance relationship can you?
