Whenever its time for the end of the school year, every student is tested to determine how much academic work has been internalized and is ready to be applied. So also it is in spiritual life and in our personal relationships with God. If we pass the test, we are promoted to the next level however; if we fail to pass, we are required to go through another test at a later date determined by our LORD Holy Spirit. In Matthew 4:1, NKJV, it is written that: Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. Even though Jesus is the Son of God, theres no favoritism in the things of God. Anyone who has been called by God must pass through Gods training ground because narrow is the path that leads to life while wide is the one that leads to destruction.
