Whenever we get a new dog in the house we are extremely cautious with toys, attention and food, usually one of these three things sparks some kind of jealousy and starts a fight. Benji gets jealous with all three things but if any dogs were to challenge him he cowers and runs to his mummy. So today at breakfast we tied up both Kendra and Walker, Benji is a slow eater and will stay with his own bowl unless someone pushes him off of it. As you can see they arent eating out of normal dog bowls but muffin trays, this just helps them slow down and not scoff their meal all in one go which can cause them to choke,be sick or even bloat. After this video miss Kendra showed signs of slight food aggression which is normal with the new fosters we get in, they have been in a kennel environment after all and either havent had to share an area with other dogs or have had to fight for their share of food. With the correct training and time it will be easy to correct and soon they will all be comfortable eating together and swapping bowls in between meals, because you know the person next to you always has better looking food Walker will be up for adoption once he has healed from his surgery and Kendra is up for adoption through abrinc.org.au Adopt dont shop!
