Where can you find the only statue and popular tourist attraction of a little boy relieving himself? Answer: Brussels, the capital of Belgium, is the only city to feature such a statute as a major tourist attraction. A colorful city, famous for its dark, rich beers, Brussels has in the town square a famous statute that depicts a little boy urinating. Known as the Mennekin Pis, the statute, standing on a pedestal, is only twenty-four inches high. A continuous stream of water flows from the statute to the basin below. The Mennekin Pis was created in 1619 and has a wardrobe of 250 outfits. While in other places it might be frowned upon as a site for foreigners to visit, local citizens revere the little boy, who simply fell in love with one of their beers and let nature take its course.
