Where did we go wrong? One agonizing thing is when you don’t - TopicsExpress

Where did we go wrong? One agonizing thing is when you don’t feel well yet diagnosis and lab tests by your trusted and competent Doctor indicate there is nothing wrong with you. Huh! Na waooo……!! To face reality, times are hard in Ghana….. Chai! Some of us throughout our schooling have been sciences, so someone should explain to us in simple economical / sociological terms: • Why is petroleum products increased almost every fortnight? • Why the scarcity of foreign currencies (especially Dollar)? • Why we seem to know all the causes of our prevailing problems yet no adequate and lasting solutions to them? • Why the Ghanaian politician is very truthful and patriotic in opposition and sees ineffective economic management and bad governance and suggest the best way to it, yet when in power gives excuses and reasons why the situation is so. • Why issues of corruption all over……..Police service, Millitary, Corporate organizations, individuals (GYEDA, SADA, etc.). I couldn’t agree with Guy Foxx more when he stated that, “the only people who cannot see reality...are the very people responsible for the reality”. For me, the state of economy is not determined by economic indicators ooooo tom! But how your pocket and living condition is. I lie? Is Prez Mahama and his Gov still in the 1st gear or the 2nd gear has started? Massa times are hard! Come to think of it, as it has been only two political parties which have been in the helm of affairs in our recent democratic dispensation, the thought is to try the other when one feels the previous or incumbent have failed (like we did), what is the guarantee for betterment our lives. Ramifications here and there for the next strongest opposition party. Now it is the strongest or wealthiest survive concept/system running. I once again need explanation on: • Why the likes of Arthur Kennedy, Wireko Brobbey, Kwame Pianin etc. could be reprimanded and sanctioned by the top hierarchy by just expressing their minds, yet one like Ken Agyapong with serious accusations and castigations goes scot free? Is it the case that should they be in power justice would be discriminated? How then do you fight corruption? • Why advocates of internal democracy and freedom of speech (with record of repelling criminal libel law) dares anyone whose ambition is to compete a favourite flag bearer of executive? Hahahaha! I heard you saying we told you. But I won’t say “wo bour nie oooo”. They should make Ghana the best place to live period! I have only one country and that is Ghana which I love dearly so I can’t leave to elsewhere which one “irresponsible” person I used to respect suggested. So right things out to be done to remedy our awful situation. Long live Ghana!........Libya too which one?
