Where is the justice for this woman. What message is being sent to other abused women. How many of those women will be injured or killed because they are afraid to defend themselves. I survived a childhood of abuse only to find myself in an abusive marriage. I got out! I would rather be in jail than live with abuse. My message to ANYONE, female or male(yes, men are also abused) is DO NOT take it. GET OUT! And if you fear for your life or the life of someone dependent on you for protection than use whatever reasonable force you must to protect and escape...even lethal.
