Where now in summer & these things are starting to build Nests, Yesterday afternoon I got stung on my Right Hand, I opened the front door put my hands on the architrave above my head, Felt the sting with immediate pain & burning to my hand, I was stung twice by the same Wasp, The wasp was still my hand when I pulled it down so I squashed it, Immediately I ran cold water over it then put a Frozen Rissole out of the freezer on it, Thats what you do for Stings & Bites We all know that !! (If you dont have a Frozen Rissole handy, a Ice Pack will do or something Cold),, Felt itchy & a little bit of Burning but tolerable,, This was about 3:30-4:pm Yesterday afternoon, Last night at about 11:30 my right hand & Fore Arm swelled up tight, My lips, Nose & Chin where tingling, it took nearly 7 hrs to show that I was Allergic to the Sting,, Tanya drove me to the Redlands Hospital, Got treated Immediately, (2.5hrs is Immediate there),, Ive been stung before & this has never happened,, Its something I never expected,, So,, If you, your kids or Anybody close to you gets stung by one of these things keep a eye on it !! As I said it took about 7 hrs to show a reaction,, With me,, Im all good now, A bit dopey from the Medication, (Which I recommend the pain killer highly), (Wow, good gear),,,, I was stung about a month ago in Nambour by a wasp & nothing like this happened,, Currently it is a itchy as, Swelling has gone Down by half & Im having the day off watching a couple of John Wayne movies,,(& on Facebook of course),, There is arrange of Medications available for Stings/Bites at your Chemist, Regardless if your Allergic or not, People have Died from these Stings,, No script Required !!,,,,,,,,,, PS, Movies are, True Grit & Cahill, US Marshall,,
