Where tax payer funded programs arent necessarily a bad thing, its a serious problem when less than half of a nations population is paying taxes. 99% huh? What of the 40someodd% paying for these things? Let me talk you, the Rockefellers arent part of that percentage. The rich sit on money and get out of taxes via loopholes while the middle class and working poor are the ones left to suffer. Congress knew that for the past 2 decades and has done little to address this issue. This is why I accept no, nor will I ever accept government assistance for anything. Ill sooner go hungry instead. Id rather see what tax payers pay into the system go to those who need it more, and Id also like to see people ceasing to live of these programs do that they may also contribute to the system.
