Where the hell do I even start??? Well, lets get to the details you may wanna hear about first. FIGHT RESULT: DRAW FACE: HURTS NOSE: NOT BROKEN (Thank God) And now the cheesy stuff! Tonight, I did something I didnt expect I would do...step back into a boxing ring. I felt I had some unfinished personal business from my last fight and I needed to get in there one more time to put the nagging beast inside of me to sleep. Tonight, I feel accomplished that. I left everything I had back in that ring and have nothing to regret from the 6 minutes we battled it out. When we started several weeks back, my coach told me I was being a bit too nice. I kept thanking him for taking the time to train me and I believe he said, Nice words. Well hug later. But its time to go to work. And boy did we ever work. I wouldnt have had the confidence I had to step into the ring against a more experienced fighter if I didnt have my coach, Dean Kerpan, with me every step of the way. And not only did I have Dean...I am the luckiest lil amateur boxer for having an amazing team of people behind me supporting me. Hal Kreisel has worked with me for the past year and a bit (from the Fight 4 The Cause - Charity Boxing Classic to now). And everyone at Studio 4 Athletics has quickly become like another family for me. Their support over the past several weeks has helped push me through to tonight and I cant thank them enough. And to top it off, I was even lucky enough to have the support of Cassius Segikwiye from Merge Combat & Fitness. That is one freakin phenomenal team of mentors. I couldnt ask for better because there isnt better. Thanks so much to Aaron Varga and the entire Varga Family for giving me the opportunity. Its an absolute honour to know and be able to train at the same gym as Aaron, Jake and Gabriel Varga. And finally, to my opponent, Dan The Batman Lucia. You are one tough motherf*cker. My face doesnt agree with me right now, but what we did in that ring was absolutely amazing. And I wish you all the best in your future ventures as a hard-hitting mother effin fighter!
