Where the mind goes the man/woman follows. As long as we think wrong we are gonna live wrong! The Law does not restore us! Christ does! The law shows us our sin, and we need to see our sin, but we are not bound to the Law, we are now freed to Jesus! Now, we want beauty for ashes, complete freedom from bondage, not half beauty and half ashes. When I was saved my spirit was 100% set free in Jesus, yours was too, covered by the blood, forgiven, made whole, and white as snow, heaven/glory bound! Our souls are still human and always will be, but now the Holy spirit lives in us! So, much will be revealed, sometimes quickly sometimes slowly. Now, the Holy Spirit lives in us and we no longer have any excuses, He gives us the strength to press ALL the way through from ashes to beauty! What is beauty? It is out with the old thinking misery/lack of gratitude/bad attitude/shame/guilt/dishonesty ect and in with the new! Its learning that God really does have a plan for us, all in His timing not ours! It is learning to be content with that, no matter our circumstances, it is willingness to go through the pain! It is deciding to press on and through from bondage to victory by the moment if needed! It is giving ourselves a break for just being human and having a bad day, knowing that Gods gifts and His LOVE are endless for us. It is holding on tight and never giving up, knowing He is gonna finish the work He has started in us. That makes it easier to not carry the guilt of our past and even our present, it is knowing we have family/ friends to travel our journey with us and to hold us accountable, but it is also knowing that there are things we will have to do for ourselves that no one can do for us. Its putting our whole being into Jesus nailed to the cross, Its getting to know ourselves well enough to be able to hear that voice inside us say check yourself followed by obedience! It is getting to know the Lord one on one best friend basis with constant fellowship! It is giving Him the ok to change us and following through by letting Him! It is a way of life! It is the best life, a life that makes a difference in a lost and lying world! It is giving back what has been given to us. It is walking in love! It is taking our eyes off others and putting them on Jesus surrendering alllllllllllllllll! We are worth it! Galatians 2:20-21 I have been crucified in Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me, and the life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God who loved and gave Himself for up for me. I do not set aside and nullify, frustrate, and invalidate the grace of God. For if justification comes through the Law, then Christ died for nothing and no purpose, and was all in vain. It was 20 years after Paul had his conversion, that he wrote these verses, so that helps me understand, just how patient and how loving our Lord is! His LOVE and GRACE is foreverrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, and ever no matter what, and it is enough! There is no perfect repentance, but there is PERFECT LOVE and GRACE! Glory to God. Here is the payoff!!!!!!! Issiah 61:7 Instead of your former shame you shall have a twofold recompense, instead of dishonor and reproach you and your people shall rejoice in your portion, therefore your land shall possess double what was forfeited, everlasting joy will be yours and theirs!
