Where to go from here? Part 2. What is my purpose? Lover of the Light! (I imagine many subsequent thoughts on this point... but for now, we are on Part 2). Like I mentioned at the funeral service the FIRE OF FAITH BURNS STRONG IN MY SOUL. I beg and plead with those who have not considered faith to do so for I know with a surety that there is no other way I would get through my life without it. And I CAUTION against ever feeling like our lives are okay, that we are strong enough, to press forward without faith. The adversary, satan and his legions, the nobody as a dear friend calls him is alive and well. God creates and organizes where as the whole study of the devil is to destroy. - Dallin H. Oaks And this life here on earth is to be tested. Of course we would like to never have encounters with the adversary but that is not part of the plan. I know that through love we will prevail. There are more that are with us (good) than are with them (evil). 2 Chronicles 32:7-8 in the old testament it says Be strong and courageous, be not afraid nor dismayed... nor for all the multitude that is with him: for there be more with us than with him: With him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the Lord our God to help us, and to fight our battles. Although, I know that my sweet family has just suffered a great attack from the adversary himself... my promise is that I will build up the kingdom of truth and righteousness with the help of the Spirit. Whatever builds people up serves the cause of the master (the Lord) - Dallin H. Oaks. My husband, Reed Barnes, always built up others. He loved and cared for the children of our Heavenly Father. The stories I have received testify to that truth. Reed is most definitely a Lover of the Light. By light, I mean all that is sustaining and strengthening and righteous. He was pure in heart. Often times, I think we are discouraged by this work because we are weighed down by our very own imperfections. Those feelings of lack of worth is simply satan hard at work. We are all of value. We are all children of our Heavenly Father. We all have a work to do. We all can stand for something --- so choose to stand for truth and righteousness. Love is in deed the most powerful force in the world! And my calling, my purpose... where shall i go from here... I shall share with the world and teach my children POWERFUL IDEAS. I have always been passionate about what we teach our children and so I am a homeschooling mom. Not because our children cannot be exposed to the world but because I want to teach them POWERFUL IDEAS. I want to teach them The Knowledge Most Worth Having. I never thought I could become more passionate about what my children learn but as of 14 days ago--- I did! Name of my Blog - address will be posted tomorrow night.
