Whether it is “Pure Grenada” or “Isle of Spice” or “Pure Isle of Spice” our dependency on tourism to bring in the revenue, create jobs and economic activities to stimulate the economy needs one question that must be answered. Are our current practices of good environmental, social and economic habits in line with sustainable tourism and for safeguarding the purity of this beautiful country for many generations to come is presently where it should be? What could we do now to reduce the gaps for future generations? Sustainability starts with businesses and individuals looking into their operation/practices and incorporating at the heart a culture of responsibility for a greater gain.
