Whether it’s Ebola, influenza or other highly communicable diseases, our leaders, nurses, physicians and other caregivers work diligently with the health department and state agencies to educate and train staff amidst a rapidly changing health situation. Each and every day, our goal is to be prepared to treat contagious diseases to ensure the safety of every patient and employee. That’s why we’re testing our state of readiness today by conducting an exercise related to a woman who traveled from West Africa to Canada, into the U.S. and presented in the Emergency Center with consistent signs and symptoms of Ebola.
