While Dominion spends BIG BUCKS to prevent any of us from having a vote to determine our future working conditions at Millstone, the IBEW is stepping up BIG TIME to ensure a voting pool can be established and Millstone workers rights are protected. While top level Dominion Management cries foul on the IBEW in site wide emails the truth is that they only have themselves to blame. Had they accepted the reasonable voting pool filing proposed by the IBEW the vote could have moved ahead in a timely manner. The fact is that Dominion seeks to delay this effort by muddying the waters and flooding the voting pool...just like they did back in 2002. As many of you who experienced the previous organizing efforts know the NLRB hearings can be a contentious process. During this period and BEYOND the company will say and do many things, in fact, everything legally in their power to delay, sway, and prevent a vote. This organizing effort is here to disagree with the same old song and dance at Millstone. Millstone workers should have a voice. Millstone workers should have a fair shake when compared to their industry peers. Millstone workers should have a seat at the table.
