While I am NOT at all living a whole foods life I would like to start a group for all of us locals who desire living a whole foods life. This would involve things like bartering for foods, trades, swaps and such. The idea I have behind this is for use to come together as a local family and help each other out. For example I may be able to grow green chilis really well but tomatoes are harder for me. I can plant extra green chili plants and during harvest season I can trade you green chilis for tomatoes. I want to show people that its easier than you may think to actually homestead and grow your own foods. I have several ideas for this group but it will have to grow much like the homeschool group did. Would anyone be interested in this? I also want to host canning parties and garden planting parties and such. I think this could really work if we do it right. If anyone is interested let me know. I am not going to create the group unless it looks like people are interested.
