While I am not a Democrat per se, I have voted straight Democratic for the last 8 elections or so. I am not a Party Loyalist, but I do vote for people who represent my values, and lately, that has only been the Democratic Party. While I may be tempted to support the Green Party, or some other Independent Party, those candidates rarely have a chance of winning, so I prefer to work within the party that is most working for me that has a record of success. A party that never wins is of not much use.
